Baltimore Man Arrested for Attempted Murder

A 37-year-old man has been arrested for the attempted murder of a 39-year-old man on Aug. 27. 

The Baltimore Police Department has reported the arrest of Issac Baylis Jr., 37, after the incident on the 700 block of Glenwood Avenue, where a 39-year-old man was suffering from a gunshot wound. 

The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he received treatment.

After interviewing prospective witnesses and examining physical evidence, detectives were able to identify the suspect just a day later and obtain an arrest warrant.

On August 30, at 7:15 a.m., members of the Warrant Task Force arrested 37-year-old Isaac Baylis, Jr., in the 300 block of W. Fayette Street without incident.

Baylis was transported to Central Booking, where he has been charged with first-degree attempted murder and various handgun violations.

Currently, Isaac Baylis is waiting to see a court commissioner.
