The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the evening of Aug. 24.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 3300 block of Greenmount Avenue around 10:25 p.m. for a shot spotter alert, where 33-year-old Michael Daye was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to an area Hospital where he later died.
