The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the afternoon on Aug. 20.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 3700 block of Towanda Avenue around 2:13 p.m. for a shooting, where a 34-year-old man was found suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to an area hospital by medics where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Northwest District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2466 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
