Shooting on E. 30th Street

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the evening of Aug. 19. 

According to a news release, officers were called to the 1600 block of E. 30th Street around 7:42 p.m. for a shooting incident. 

Upon arrival, officers located a 28 year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his left forearm. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to the victim, he had been sitting in his vehicle when an unknown suspect opened fire on him without warning. 

Northeast District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2444 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
