The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the afternoon of July 11.

According to a news release, patrol officers were called to an area hospital around 12:39 p.m. for reports of a walk-in shooting victim, where a 30-year-old woman was found suffering from an apparent non-life threatening gunshot seeking treatment.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was driving in the 3700 block of Oakmont Avenue, when she heard discharging and realized she was shot.
