The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the evening on July 7. 

According to a news release, officers were called to the 2400 block of East Monument Street around 9:40 p.m. to investigate reports of a shooting, where an adult man was found suffering from a gunshot and a 16-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot to the leg. 

The victims were transported to area hospitals.

Eastern District Shooting detectives were summoned and assumed control over the investigation.  Anyone that has information about this incident is urged to contact detectives at (410)396-2433.
