On June 28, a Baltimore man convicted of manslaughter was sentenced to 10 years in prison before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Dana M. Middleton.
Jerry Hill, 28, was found guilty of manslaughter as well as six counts of traffic violations in connection to two incidents occurring on July 16, 2020 and June 17, 2022, respectively.
The terms of the sentence include 10 years suspending all but 5 years in prison with 5 years on probation. His time will be credited from July, 14 2020.
On Dec. 8, 2021, Hill pleaded guilty to manslaughter with a vehicle and manslaughter due to criminal negligence.
According to court documents, Hill was arrested on July 14, 2020, for fleeing from the police at a high speed chase and causing an accident leaving Critstal Eatman dead.
