The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the morning of June 18.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 2700 block of Maryland Avenue around 7:05 a.m. for reports of shots being fired, where 35-year-old Davon Battle was found suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
