The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting on the evening of June 16.
According to a news release, officers were called to the unit block of Beechfield Avenue around 9:52 p.m. for a shooting, where an unknown man was found shot in the head.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he is in critical condition.
Due to the seriousness of the victim’s injury, homicide detectives were summoned.
