Despite a modest decline in homicides in May, Baltimore City had the most non-fatal shootings last month so far in 2022.
There were 16 more non-fatal shootings in May than there were in the prior month, increasing from 48 to 64. However, there were eight less homicides last month with a decrease from 32 to 24.
