A 39-year-old homicide defendant’s trial was scheduled towards the end of the year on May 2 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn.
Daniel Greene is charged with first-degree murder, home invasion, use of a firearm during a violent crime, and having a handgun on his person in connection to an incident on Nov.29, 2017.
Judge Phinn listened as counsel came to an agreement on a new trial date.
According to the Baltimore Sun, on Nov. 29, 2017, officers were called to the 1800 block of E. Pratt Street for reports of shots being fired. They found 31-year-old Jon Hickey suffering from a gunshot in his home.
Greene’s trial is scheduled for Nov. 1 through the Nov. 16.
