The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on April 10 on Whitwood Road.
According to a news release, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Northeast District police were called to the 5500 block of Whitwood Road to investigate a reported shooting, where they found a 27-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to an area hospital by medics.
Northeast District Shooting detectives have assumed control over the investigation.
