The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the morning on March 17.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 1800 block of N. Rutland Avenue around 6:41 a.m. for an aggravated assault, where they found Baltimore city medics treating a 33-year-old Dominic Kennedy suffering from severe head and facial wounds.
The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he remained in critical condition until he was pronounced deceased on March 22.
The victim’s remains have been transported to the medical examiner’s office where an autopsy is to be performed, said police.
Homicide detectives have assumed control of this investigation.
