The Baltimore Police Department is investigating the fatal shooting of a 29-year-old man on Jan. 7 along W. Lanvale Street.
Around 1:15 a.m., a news release states, officers were on patrol when they heard gunfire and began searching the area. They then received a Shot Spotter alert for a reported shooting on the 1900 block of W. Lanvale Street, where officers found Justin Anthony with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said the victim was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and pronounced dead by medics soon after arriving.
