Two men were killed and another two injured in Baltimore’s first reported shootings of the New Year that occurred within 15 minutes of each other on Jan. 1.
The Baltimore Police Department first reported a triple shooting around 1:30 a.m. when officers were called to the 4600 block of Gelatin Drive and found two men with gunshot wounds, both of whom were pronounced dead at the scene.
A 16-year-old teenager was also found with a gunshot wound to his leg and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Just 14 minutes later, officers were called to a hospital for a reported shooting victim and found an 18-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim told police he was walking around Fells Point when he heard what he thought were firecrackers before feeling a burn and beginning to run.
