The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting on Dec. 5 on Parkwood Avenue.

Around 12:40 p.m. on Sunday, officers patrolling the Western District heard gunfire and saw people running from the 2900 of Parkwood Avenue, where they found a man, later identified as 26-year-old Ronald Barksdale, with multiple gunshot wounds.

Medics took Barksdale to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he later died.
