A 26-year-old Baltimore resident accused of an attempted murder earlier this year recieved a trial date on Nov. 23 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn.
Devin Johnson is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first-degree assault, felony use of a firearm in a violent crime, reckless endangerment, having a handgun on his person, discharging firearms, and two counts of having a handgun 100 yards within the public in connection to an incident on Sept. 5.
The prosecution offered a plea, but defense attorney Joseph Cavanaugh rejected the offer on Johnson’s behalf.
Judge Phinn set a trial date for June 14, 2022.
