A 16-year-old teenager charged with attempted homicide will return to reception court next year pending his juvenile transfer.

The Baltimore resident is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, firearm use in a felony violent crime, reckless endangerment, possession of a firearm as a minor, having a handgun on his person and in a vehicle, and discharging firearms.

On Nov. 10, the prosecutor and defense attorney Sasha Garcon said the teen was awaiting a juvenile transfer.

Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn rescheduled the case for reception court on Jan. 7, 2022.
