Homicide Defendant Gets Trial Date in Reception Court

A man accused of murder received a trial date during reception court on Oct. 25 at Baltimore City Circuit Court. 

Keith Taylor, 41, is charged with first-degree murder, felony use of a firearm in a violent crime, having a handgun on his person, and firearm possession with a felony conviction.

According to CBS Baltimore, Taylor allegedly murdered 23-year-old Jazzeind Kashif Fulton who was found in the back seat of a vehicle on the 2300 block of Evergreen Street on April 19, 2020. 

On Monday, defense attorney Bradley Macfee was not present, but the prosecution confirmed that all discovery was sent to Macfee. 

Judge Melissa M. Phinn set a trial date for April 19, 2022. According to the Maryland Judiciary website, Taylor is scheduled for a Zoom remote hearing on Dec. 13 prior to trial.
