A probation violation hearing for a homicide defendant convicted of stabbing a mother of two children 25 years ago was postponed on Oct. 22 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Jeannie J. Hong.
Baltimore resident Charles Robert Hicks III received a life sentence and five years supervised probation for first-degree murder.
According to Baltimore Sun, Hicks, 56, killed 26-year-old Nancy V. Klotz by stabbing her to death on the unit block of W. Clement Street in August 1996.
Hicks is currently being held in jail for a different case in Baltimore County on charges of burglary and home invasion.
For this reason, the prosecution asked for a postponement, which Judge Hong scheduled for Feb. 4, 2022.
