Alleged Murderer Still Waits for Trial Date

A 37-year-old homicide defendant still waits for a trial date after being presented during reception court on Aug. 26 at Baltimore City Circuit Court.

Baltimore resident Eric Nash was allegedly stabbed 39-year-old John Noel on the 200 block of S. Ballou Court on Nov. 11, 2020. He is charged with first-degree murder and use of a deadly weapon with the intent to injure.

On Thursday, Nash’s defense attorney, Janet Andersen, said she had yet to review the prosecution’s enclosed DNA discovery and statement that was submitted near the end of last week.

Judge Melissa M. Phinn scheduled the case to return to reception court on Oct. 5.
