Scheduled Non-Fatal Shooting Case Goes Unheard

The case of a 33-year-old non-fatal shooting defendant was not heard on Aug. 12 during reception court at Baltimore City Circuit Court, despite being scheduled on the docket.

The defendant, a Baltimore resident, is charged with illegal possession of a regulated firearm, having a loaded handgun on his person, having a handgun on his person, discharging firearms in the city, and illegal possession of ammunition. The charges stem from an incident on June 10.

Judge Melissa M. Phinn did not call the case on Thursday, but it is scheduled for reception court on Sept. 1, according to the Maryland Judiciary website.
