The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Aug. 1.
According to a press release, officers responded to a local hospital around 12:45 a.m. Upon arrival, they found a 20-year-old woman being treated for a gunshot wound to her back.
The victim is listed in stable condition. She told detectives she was shot somewhere on Charles Street, but did not provide more specific information, police said.
