Shooting Leaves 12-Year-Old Boy Seriously Wounded

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on July 3.

According to a press release, officers responded to the 2400 block of Annor Court at around 1:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, they found a large group of people fighting but no shooting victims.

While on patrol, an officer stopped a vehicle travelling quickly on the 1100 block of Washington Boulevard. In the backseat was a 12-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his chest. The driver of the vehicle told police that the victim had been shot on Annor Court.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he is listed in serious but stable condition.

A second victim, a 20-year-old man, was found at a local hospital seeking treatment for a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his calf.
