Police Reclassify April Shooting, Remove from Shooting Numbers

 Southwest District Shooting Investigation 

On April 10, 2026, at approximately 6:17 p.m., officers responded to a call for a shooting in the 200 block of North Gilmore Street. Police determined, via a press release August 25, that the shooting was reclassified as justified.

Upon arrival, officers located a 44-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital listed in stable condition. 

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Southwest District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2488.
