Northwest District Attempted Murder Arrest
In reference to an August 11, 2026, shooting in the Northwest District, Baltimore Police Department officers have arrested 31-year-old Linay Wilkes of Baltimore.
Wilkes was wanted in connection with the shooting of a 33-year-old female in the 1600 block of North Hilton Street, following a dispute.
Officers also arrested a second suspect, a 31-year-old woman, for her involvement in the incident.
She was charged with second-degree assault.
Linay Wilkes was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where she was charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault, burglary, and multiple handgun violations.
