On July 16, 2026, at approximately 5:29 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of West Redwood Street for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.
Upon officers’ arrival at the hospital, they located a 43-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. The victim was listed in stable condition. At this time, the incident location has not been determined.
Central District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
