Police Arrest Suspect for Shooting of Off-Duty Officer

Detective from the Baltimore Police Department arrested an individual suspected of shooting of a fellow officer on July 11 on the 2100 block of Sinclair Lane.

According to the news release, the off-duty officer was suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm. He was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives arrested 29-yea-old Christopher Leigh for the shooting. He was arrested in Baltimore County, transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged with attempted first-degree murder.
