The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southeast District.
On June 23, at approximately 12:14 a.m., officers responded to the 3400 block of Leverton Street to investigate a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Homicide detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.
