Saniya Anderson is a rising senior at Washington and Lee University, majoring in Sociology with a minor in Africana Studies. After graduating, Saniya plans to attend law school, hoping to pursue a career in either public service or civil rights law.
Moving from Baltimore to Annapolis, she has witnessed firsthand the broad impacts of the criminal justice system, developing a passion for social justice and transparency in the law. During her time with Baltimore Witness, Saniya hopes to gain valuable writing skills and bring transparency to her local community.
