Man Injured, Child in Critical Condition After West Baltimore Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Western District.

On May 27, at approximately 7:40 p.m., Western District officers responded to multiple calls of a reported shooting at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Dolphin Street.

On scene, officers located a 11-year-old boy and a 26-year-old man, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to area hospitals, where the 11-year-old is listed in serious, but stable condition. The adult male is in stable condition.

Western District shooting detectives responded to the scene and are investigating this incident.
