2 Hospitalized After Shooting Near Edmondson Village

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Southwest District.

On May 25, 2026, at approximately 3:52 p.m., officers responded to a call for a shooting on the 4100 block of Cranston Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located a 65-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his lower body. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Shortly after, officers responded to an area hospital and located a 35-year-old man seeking treatment for an apparent gunshot wound to his foot. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Investigators determined the second victim was also shot while on the 4100 block of Cranston Avenue.

Southwest District shooting detectives have assumed control of the investigation.
