The Independent Investigations Division (IID) of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General has identified the decedent and the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) officers involved in the fatal police-involved shooting that occurred May 14 in Southwest Baltimore.
The decedent is identified as 46-year-old Louis Jackson of Baltimore.
The involved BPD officers are identified as one 13-year veteran and one 3-year veteran. Both officers are assigned to the Patrol Division.
The IID is continuing to investigate the circumstances of this shooting.
