16-Year-Old Boy Shot in Leg in Northeast Baltimore

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northeast District.

On May 15, at approximately 4:16 p.m., Northeast District officers responded to the 4300 block of Furley Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 16-year-old boy suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Northeast District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
