The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Northwest District.
On May 7, at approximately 3:16 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers were called to the 4400 block of Norfolk Avenue in response to a discharging.
Once there, officers canvassed the area and located a 37-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Medics responded to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital, where he later died.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot while on the 4400 block of Fairview Avenue, where investigators located a crime scene.
