Man in Critical Condition After Edmondson Avenue Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Western District.

On May 5, at approximately 12:28 a.m., officers responded to the 2800 block of Edmondson Avenue to investigate a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers were unable to locate a victim.

While on the scene, officers were called to an area hospital, where a shooting victim walked in seeking treatment. Officers responded to the hospital, where they located a 47-year-old man who was suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim is reportedly in serious condition.
