17-Year-Old Boy Shot in Leg in Southeast Baltimore

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Southeast District.

On April 26, at approximately 1:24 p.m., officers responded to the 2700 block of Beryl Avenue in reference to a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 17-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital to treat his non-life threatening injuries.

Officers were informed that the shooting may have taken place on the 1100 block of N. Lakewood Avenue.
