In reference to a shooting that occurred April 11 in the Western District, detectives have arrested 26-year-old Michael Parkerton of Laurel, Maryland.
Parkerton was wanted in connection to the shooting of a 44-year-old man on the 1100 block of W. Lafayette Avenue.
On April 15, detectives apprehended Parkerton on the 2500 block of W. Lafayette Avenue and transported him to the Central Booking & Intake Facility. Parkerton has since been charged with attempted first-degree murder and multiple handgun violations.
