44-Year-Old Man in Critical Condition Following Shooting in West Baltimore

The Baltimore Police Department announced (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting incident in the Western District.

On April 11, at approximately 2:46 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of W. Lafayette Avenue to investigate a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 44-year-old man who was suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he is in critical condition.

Western District shooting detectives are working to identify a suspect and determine a motive.
