The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Southern District.
On April 5, at approximately 12 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
Once there, officers located a 48-year-old man suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the hand.
Investigators have yet to determine the location of the shooting.
