The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an update regarding a fatal shooting that occurred March 31 in the Northwest District.
Investigators have identified the victim as 43-year-old Garreth Parks Jr. Parks was killed on his birthday, following a domestic dispute on the 3700 block of W. Belvedere Avenue.
On April 1, shortly after the homicide, detectives arrested 49-year-old Rene Parks. Parks was transported to the Central Booking & Intake Facility, where she was charged with first- and second-degree murder, assault, and multiple handgun offenses.
