East Baltimore Shooting Leaves Man in Critical Condition, Woman Injured

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an investigation into a shooting incident in the Eastern District.

On April 2, at approximately 8:27 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of E. Hoffman Street following a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that two shooting victims had already left the scene to seek treatment at a nearby hospital.

Officers proceeded to the hospital and found a 29-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds and a 35-year-old woman with a graze wound.

The man is currently listed in critical condition.
