Man Shot in Leg During Early Morning Shooting in Northeast Baltimore

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northeast District.

On March 21, at approximately 3 a.m., officers responded to an area hospital to investigate a report of a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.

Upon arrival at the hospital, officers located a 36-year-old man exhibiting an apparent gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim was shot on the 3600 block of Hamilton Avenue.

Northeast District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
