The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southeast District.
On March 21, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Southeast District officers responded to the 700 block of N. Port Street to investigate a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where hospital staff pronounced him deceased.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
