The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an update on the Northwest District homicide investigation.
On Feb. 25, at approximately 6:47 p.m., officers responded to the 4900 block of Reisterstown Road to investigate a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers observed two unidentified men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. Both men were transported to the area hospital in critical condition.
Despite medical efforts, one of the victims, a 59-year-old man, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The other victim, who has not yet been identified, succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
