The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northwest District.
On Feb. 14, at approximately 11:37 p.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 3400 block of Bateman Avenue for a report of discharging.
Officers canvassed the area and located a 16-year-old boy suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital by medics for treatment.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim was shot on the 3400 block of Piedmont Avenue.
