2 Injured After Altercation at Southeast Baltimore Store Escalates Into Gunfire

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Southeast District.

On Jan. 31, at approximately 10:27 p.m., Southeast District officers were on patrol in the 4100 block of Eastern Avenue when they observed multiple people running from inside a store.

Officers entered the store and located a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his hand and a 25-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his arm. The victims were transported to an area hospital, where they were listed in stable condition and received treatment for their injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed a physical altercation occurred inside the store prior to the shooting.

Southeast District detectives are investigating this incident.
