The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Northern District.
On Jan. 30, at approximately 9:02 p.m., Northern District officers responded to the 600 block of Woodbourne Avenue for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 36-year-old man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. An unidentified man was also found with a gunshot wound.
The unidentified victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the 36-year-old victim was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Preliminary investigation revealed the shooting occurred on the 500 block of Sheridan Avenue. Homicide detectives are currently leading the investigation.
