Man Hospitalized With Gunshot Wound to Leg in Southeast Baltimore

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Southeast District.

On Jan. 24, at approximately 1:09 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of N. Port Street to investigate a reported shooting.

Shortly after, officers received information about a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment at a nearby hospital. Upon arrival, officers located a 27-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his leg. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Southeast District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.
