59-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized After Shooting in Northeast Baltimore

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a shooting investigation in the Northeast District.

On Jan. 20, at approximately 7:52 p.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 5400 block of Gerland Avenue following a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 59-year-old woman suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
